Camp Rescue is a one day session of presentations designed to educate children in safety and what to do in the event of an emergency. The camp was the idea of Judy Ward who planned and initiated it in 1989 and has directed it ever since. It has been used as a model for camps offered by other squads regionally, statewide, nationally and internationally. Camp Rescue is free to kids ages 9 through 13 and is held in July. Several of our Squad members, past and present, have gotten their start in the medical field at Camp Rescue.
