The 5th Annual MVRS Chili Cook-Off is now in the books! What a night! Record crowds, great chili and an awesome sense of community! Thank you to our participating community organizations –  Mathews Lions, Mathews Rotary, Mathews Ruritan, Piankatank Ruritan and American Legion Post 83! As always, we want to thank our great sponsors and those who purchased tickets! Our Sponsors: Beach Bum BBQ/Richardson’s Restaurants; The Kloke Group, Morse Enterprises; Josie Thorpe, Ron/Debbie Lambert, Yukon Learning, Inc,; M&M Building Supply, Tri-rivers Investment Group/Davenport; Riverside Walter Reed Hospital; Chesapeake Bank; Dr. Wathen; Tim/Susan Hill; Bill/Sharon Leary; Jack/Susan White and Subway!
