Higher insurance deductibles and less funding has had a significant impact on MVRS revenues. On January 1, 2018, all patients, including Mathews residents will receive a bill for MVRS services. In many cases, your insurance may cover the total costs and you will owe nothing. In other situations, where you may not have insurance or your insurance may not cover (or only partially cover) our services, you will receive a bill for the difference. Our desire would be to not do this, but in order for MVRS to provide outstanding 24/7 emergency care, we must have the necessary funding. Please click on the Billing Tab for more information. Thank you!
